Peschici is a well-known Gargano seaside resort because of its sea quality and bathing, thanks to which it has often obtained the prestigious Blue Flag award by the Foundation for Environmental Education. Its white colour and the bay view are the reasons why it is considered one of the most beautiful panoramas in Puglia.
Thanks to its sea quality, also Vieste has often received the Blue Flag award by the Foundation for Environmental Education. Vieste is part of Gargano National Park and Comunità Montana del Gargano (Gargano mountain community). Its symbol is Pizzomunno, a 25m high monolith rising at the beginning of the beach and linked to several legends.
